Los Alamos Chair Faire 2012

Los Alamos Chair Faire

Visitors stroll the sidewalks looking for the perfect chair for the hallway, or the extraordinary accent chair, craftman chair, or garden chair.

The afternoon is spent eating and strolling, wine tasting, browsing for antiques and art, while viewing, buying or selling  a favorite item for so many people….chairs!

The Art Yard will feature artists demonstrating “art with chairs” from painting to upholstering. Chelsea Ward, local artist, will be demonstrating.

There will be art chairs of all kinds in this yard, across from the Post Office, including chair sculptures, painted chairs, and the gigantic “Edith-Ann” chair

Full of Life Flatbread Restaurant will be bringing their traveling wood-burning pizza oven to the park, to add to the picnic atmosphere.  The guitar, bass, and conga “Wooly Bushmen” Band of Zachary Tullis-Thompson, David Heuer, and Scott Semple will be performing at the Centenniel Park as well.

During their breaks there will be Musical Chairs led by a National Story-Telling Festival veteran, soon to be confirmed and announced.  There are gift certificate prizes for the winners of Musical Chairs.
