Los Olivos Quick Draw & Artwalk Show is not a cowboy gunfight contest its where an artist creates works of art in 60 minutes or less.
Santa Ynez Valley Arts presents the Annual Quick Draw and Artwalk. Los Olivos, located in the heart of the Santa Barbara wine country, will once again shimmer in the summer with vibrant creativity!
This long-standing, free, signature event will bring visitors up-close and personal with talented artists. The excitement begins when the featured Quick Draw artists are introduced and then released to work on producing a finished piece of art within 60 minutes.
This is a rare opportunity to step into a “virtual studio” and observe a variety of techniques! After the Quick Draw, visitors will have a chance to walk around and view the completed artworks.
Visitors are encouraged to questions, and learn more about these featured artists before their one-of-a-kind work is available to the highest bidder through a live auction
In addition to the Quick Draw, there will be a variety of artist and artisan booths selling unique items in the afternoon, a silent auction, live music, delicious food, demonstrations, and a special, ticketed VIP reception.
VIP guests can chat with featured artists and enjoy a tasty selection of appetizers, provided by Tamara Catering, and local wines in the beautiful shaded courtyard of St. Mark’s In-The-Valley Episcopal Church.
Featured artists include Sean McCue and Michelle Beauchesne; Kathleen Sieck and the Paradise Road; Paul Kenny. The Singer/Songwriter Stage will host Peter Clayton; Jamey Geston; Kate Graves; Joel Jacks; Andy Sydow; and Rebecca Vine.
Afterward, there will be a chance to take home the work of a favorite, featured artist as the highest bidder in a spirited live auction beginning at 12:30 pm. Additional works from the Quick Draw artists will be for sale in the Featured Artists’ exhibition inside Mattei’s Garden Room.
The Los Olivos Quick Draw & Arts Festival is sponsored by Mattei’s Tavern, VisitSYV, and Atmosphere Atelier with support from a variety of Community Partners.
