Downtown Disney is the entrance path to Disneyland and California Adventure. The tram from the parking lot drops you off at Disney's shopping district. The theme here is defiantly entertainment and dining. Shopping consists of specialty shops geared toward the tourist traffic. The ESPN Zone and the House of Blues provide the entertainment and dinning ranges from causal to upscale. If your visiting one of the parks you can get a hand stamp and enjoy lunch or dinner at Downtown Disney. If your just out for the day shopping this might not be the place for you although the Disney store is huge and has collector's items of every size and shape.
