Southern California's Inland Empire has plenty of things to and places to see. It's mountain's provide year round outdoor activities's. The desert area has Palm Springs with it's many resorts and golf courses. For those who enjoy wine tasting Temecula has over 30 wineries and tasting rooms. The central valleys have numerous museums and historical sites waiting to be explored. The Inland Empire also includes the San Bernardino Mountains to the north including Big Bear and Lake Arrowhead. Pine Knot Village - More than 80 art galleries, quaint shops, movie theaters and restaurants located in the scenic mountains of Southern california. Enjoy the clean air and relaxing atmosphere.
 



Big Bear Lake - The only place in Southern California that can offer you four distinct seasons. A high altitude getaway in the San Bernardino Mountains. Year round vacation and day trip destination.
Oak Glen - Take the family to a relaxing country getaway. Oak Glen is famous for Apples, Cider, Antiques, U-Pick apple orchards and fruit stands. About a 90 minute drive from Los Angeles.  
Orange Empire Railway
Operating trains and classic trolleys. Fun day for kids and adults. Large collection of trains on display. Ride the trains and trolleys all day for one price.
South Coast Winery & Resort - Wine tasting on a terrace, overlooking the vineyards and the breathtaking beauty of Mount Palomar Mountain. $10 for 5 tastes, logo glass included.
Tom's Farm - At one time this was a small produce stand in the Temescal Canyon near Lake Elsinore. Today the farm is a family destination with rides, several restaurants and a train ride. Pick up some fresh produce and candy.
Temecula - Gateway to the Temecula wine country. Old Town district has over 640 antique dealers, unique shopping, and restaurants. Nice day trip from anywhere in Southern California. Take a wine tour in the Temecula back country.
Ontario Mills Outlet Store Mall - This is the Big Daddy of outlet malls. Over 200 stores and entertainment venues this has got to be one of the largest shopping centers you will ever visit.
Lake Elsinore Outlet Mall - Located between Corona and Lake Elsinore just off the I-15 freeway this make a nice stop to keep the wife happy on your day trip. Small food court and big shopping.
California Citrus State Park - Half of the 377 acres is devoted to a working citrus grove.The visitor center houses a citrus museum. See how much of the Southern California looked like before it was developed and paved over.
March Field Air Museum - Over 60 historic military aircraft are on display. Plan on spending at least three hours to view the entire collection. Tours are available with advance reservations. Indoor and outdoor displays of real war planes.
San Bernardino County Museum
Regional museum with exhibits and collections in cultural and natural history. Programs for students and children. Museum is in Redlands, California.
Riverside Municipal Museum - Area history, anthropology, and natural history displays. 3580 mission Inn avenue, Riverside California.The Museum offers fun children and family programs.
Yanks Air Museum - A unique collection of airplanes built in the United States. over 5½ acres and includes 76,600 square feet of displays of aircraft. Located in Chino only 30 minutes from Orange County.
Diamond Valley Lake - Huge man made lake offering fishing, Lots of places to hike in the hills surrounding the reservoir. Aquatic Center houses a play gym and water slide during the summer.
Route 66 Museum - Located in Old Town Victorville the museum displays a collection of historic photographs and artifacts. Brochures, maps and other travel information on points of interest
NHRA Motor sports Museum - Features an impressive array of vintage and historical racing vehicles chronicling more than 50 years of American motor sports. Pomona, California
Mission Inn Riverside - National Historic Landmark, restored to it's original splendor. Docent led tours.are held twice a day. Cost is $12.00 per person. At Christmas time the Inn is covered with thousands of lights.
