 Bordered on the north by Huntington Beach Beach and on the south by Laguna Beach. Newport is home to some of the most expensive real estate in Southern California. The City has two piers and six miles of wide sandy beach. Parking can be hard to find during the summer months it's best to arrive early to find a space. Newport's back bay is one of the few remaining estuaries in Southern California and is the home of nearly 200 species of birds. Take a guided boat tour around the bay or rent a Duffy electric boat and and explore on your own for a fun day at Newport beach.

Newport Beach is located 50 miles south of Los Angeles and has 22 square miles of ocean and bay. Newport is home to the "wedge" a world famous surfing spot. The Balboa Pavilion is a registered historic structure built in 1905. In the mid-1800s, the state sold parts of Harbor, Balboa and Lido islands for $1 an acre. Average temperatures: 69ºF in summer, 56ºF in winter. Home to the Newport Beach Festival of the Arts and the Newport Beach Film Festival. Newport Beach is home to the Christmas Boat Parade.
