Sea
Life Aquarium in Carlsbad California
is Legoland's newest attraction. The aquarium is separate
admission from Legoland and makes the
resort a two park destination. The Sea Life experience is
a family voyage to the depths of the oceans, presenting the
wonders of the underwater world to them in a fun and educational
way. The two-story aquarium has over 36,000 square feet filled
with ocean displays. Main
attractions at Sea Life Aquarium are: Lost City
of Atlantis:
200,000 gallon ocean display featuring sharks, rays and tropical
creatures
swimming amongst a LEGO® excavation, as well as a 35-foot-long
acrylic tunnel allowing guests
to explore the “lost city” without ever getting
wet, Discovery Zone Touch Pool: Hands-on
exhibit offering guests the opportunity to interact with
marine life
experts, touch tropical species and take an extra-special
360-degree look at the lives of
sea creatures and Quiz Trail: Children study
a trail of 10 interactive question-and-answer panels found
throughout the
Aquarium and receive a special Sea Life prize at the end
of their visit for correct responses. Sea Life Aquarium is
a fun day for the entire family.
