On the promenade,
you will find tourists and locals strolling to a variety
of shops movie theaters and restaurants. There is also
quite a bit of shopping on the Promenade with something
for every budget. Most of the stores are geared toward
tourist but there are a few standard shops including
Puma, Prada, The Gap and Banana Republic . During
the week you will have the Promenade to yourself, but
on summer weekends
there can be a huge crowd and the street is full of
energy. South end of the Promenade is Santa Monica Place
which is a mid-sized shopping mall with a huge food
court and 3 levels of shops anchored by Macy's.
