Travel Town Train Museum was dedicated on December 14, 1952, and ever since has been delighting railroad fans of all ages. There is a miniature train that circles the outdoor museum. Inside you will find a collection of locomotives, cabooses, passenger cars and motor cars from from 1880 to the 1930s. Kids are allowed to climb aboard some of the locomotives. Travel Town is a hidden treasure located in Griffith Park. Your kids will love visiting this wonderful little train museum in the park.
Travel Town Train Railroad
Travel Town is a a favorite destination for families and railroad enthusiasts. Train rides cost for adults and children: $2.50. Admission to the museum is free. Museum hours: Monday through Friday: 10:00 am - 4:00 pm Weekends: 10:00 am - 5:00 pm The Travel Town gift shop has engineer's hats and train whistles, as well as Thomas the Tank Engine toys.
