There are more than 50 companies or non-profit societies operating whale-watching tours from some 20 ports all along the California coast. While on your whale watching cruise you might also spot Dolphins, Porpoises, Sea Lions, Harbor Seals, Marine Birds, and other Whales. Many cruises guarantee whale sightings; however, it is possible that cruises won't see whales on your trip. Most whale-watching companies provide customers with a complimentary pass to return on another day. Southern California has some of the best whale watching adventures you will find anywhere.
