Southern California Tet Festival Fountain Valley and Costa Mesa

Southern California Tet festivals are family-friendly events. Taste fantastic Vietnamese food, listen to music, and enjoy the new year with family and friends.

Fountain Valley Tet Festival will be held from February 9 to February 11, 2024, on the Freedom Hall Lawn at Mile Square Park.

UVSA Tet Festival is located at the OC Fair & Event Center.  Tickets are $8.00 per person—Union of Vietnamese Students Tet Festival (Feb 9 -11. 2024).

Tet Festival Centinal Park in Santa Ana. This event is free. Free street parking, parking fee inside the park. (Feb 3, 2024, 2 pm – 7 pm)

Southern California Tet Festival Attractions

Southern California Tet Festival draws new visitors inside and outside the Vietnamese community. Each year, the festival draws 100,000 plus visitors. The Tet Festival gets bigger and better each year, so be sure to add the celebration to your to-do list.

Along with Vietnamese food and exhibits, the most anticipated event at the Tet Festival is the Miss Vietnam of Southern California pageant. This event is open to residents of Southern California of some Vietnamese descent who are enrolled in high school or college.

There is also a Children’s pageant for kids ages 4 to 11. Participants wear traditional Vietnamese Traditional clothing and compete for prizes.

Several contests run throughout the three-day event, including best floral arrangement, photo and video of the Tet Festival, and a very popular Pho Eating Contest.

The highlight of the festival is the Miss Vietnam of Southern California contest. The contest is open to women ages 17-26 who live in Southern California and are of some Vietnamese descent.

Where is the Southern California Tet Festival

The Fountain Valley OC Tết Festival celebration will occur from February 9 to February 11, 2024, on the Freedom Hall Lawn at Mile Square Park.

UVSA Tet Festival takes place at the OC Fair & Event Center. Tickets are $8 per person, and parking is not included. Visitors wearing traditional outfits get free entry on Saturday only!

Closer to Little Saigon and more popular is the Central Park Tet Festival, held in Santa Ana. This event is free. Free street parking, parking fee inside the park.
